IS TRUTH RELATIVE OR OBJECTIVE? (April 20, 2009)

This apologetics brief (a 2,000-word pamphlet with graphics) helps readers understand the crisis of truth in today's culture.  It challenges four avenues of relativism: Postmodernism, The New Tolerance, Moral Relativism, and Postmodern Christianity.  It answers the "truth question" by pointing to the Missing Piece of the puzzle - the Source of all truth and His revelation to mankind.  To order, please contact www.truewaytracts.com

"This apologetics brief will help both believers and unbelievers understand truth in today's culture, drawing many closer to the Source of all truth" - Chuck Smith, Senior Pastor, Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa

THE BATTLE OF THE AGES  (March 16, 2009)

The ‘Battle of the Ages’ began before the creation of man. The battle is between God and Satan and his fallen angels. Man, created in the image of God is the battlefield. The lives of Job and Daniel help us understand how intense the battle can become.

One of Satan’s most effective weapons is to destroy or put in question God’s message to mankind who is created in His image. This began in the Garden of Eden when Satan asked Eve: “Hath God said?” and this remains his chief weapon throughout human history. Satan tries to diminish the inerrant Revelation of God’s Word to man.

It is clear that Satan attempts to attack the Biblical world view that reveals God’s revelation concerning human history. Some earlier attacks came when the ‘reformers’ successfully declared the truth from God’s Holy Word that the “just shall live by faith”, through the redeeming work of Christ on the cross. The attack came by way of higher critics and a counter-reformation movement.

The center of successful mission activity of the reformers moved from Europe to the British Isles which then became the center of world mission activity. This was followed by the Bible believing Christians in the United States which became the new world center for missions. Satan’s attacks become greater in countries that have effectively launched into world missions. The Christian world view remains the greatest challenge to Satan’s plan for a ‘New World Order’ and the rule of the anti-Christ.

The following article describes the efforts of men who gathered in a loft over Peck’s Restaurant, at 140 Fulton Street in lower Manhattan in New York. Their purpose was to strategize the overthrow of the Christian worldview that still pervaded much of American culture and replace it with the ideas of a then rather unknown writer by the name of Karl Marx. How many of these men can you remember from your school text-books?
