Chaplaincy
The Calvary Chapel Chaplaincy Program is provided for
men who are seeking Ecclesiastical Endorsement on a DD 2088 for the US Army,
Navy, or Air Force. The
endorsement may also be obtained for the Department of Justice (DoJ) for
chaplains providing ministry at federal penitentiaries.
This program does not apply to other types of chaplaincy such
as law enforcement or fire services which can be endorsed by local churches.
This is
exclusively provided by and through Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa.
The CCOF ministry office provides
the liaison and communication channels to facilitate the process.

meet certain medical and physical fitness standards; hold a B.A. or B.S.
degree, with not less than 120 semester hours from a qualified
educational institution; and hold a post–baccalaureate graduate

The Navy also has a “Chaplain Candidate Program Officer†(CCPO)
